Hotel Calypso - Ventimiglia

Spent 2 nights here and loved it! The rooms are spacious and clean. Amazing air conditioning. Perfect spot, just a 5-minute walk to the train station and local restaurants. Only downside was some wifi issues, but didn't bother us much!

Very comfortable building and functional rooms with a bathroom. Location just next door to beach, a large market right out the door and the boulevard. For tea or coffee visit Voglia di Gelato nearby.

Property was quiet and nice little, I really enjoyed the stay.

The breakfast was delicious and good with excellant coffee and had something for everyone. My room was extremely pleasant, had smoke detectors for safety measures...

Oh man, the food scene here is killer! The oysters I found nearby were a real treasure, perfectly fresh! Plus, the staff was super kind, always helpful with dinner suggestions. The location near the promenade made daily walks an absolute joy!

Now, I'm just nitpicking, but our cappuccino was a bit watery. The lack of a mini fridge in our Double or Twin Room made it tough to keep drinks cool during the summer heat. Still, the overall vibe more than made up for it!

The Family Suite features a comfortable layout with two adjoining rooms, a handy private bathroom, and a nice balcony. Each room has its own separate AC and TV.

The parking lot is quite small, leading to difficulties finding street parking, especially on Fridays when there's a local market nearby. The breakfast could use more variety, especially fresh vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers. Plus, the inability to take keys outside felt a bit unusual.

The staff greeted us warmly with complimentary drinks on arrival. Our room included a lovely balcony, which allowed us to unwind. The breakfast spread impressed us with freshly made pastries and more than just the usual bites 🥐☕

We did encounter some minor wifi issues , a bit inconvenient at times.

I stayed in the Family Suite for 3 nights and it was super comfy! The room was clean and felt newly renovated. Having two adjoined rooms with a private bathroom was really handy. Plus, there was a nice balcony to chill on. The separate AC and TV in each room were great touches too.

The hotel offers a very convenient location, just a short walk to the train station and the seaside. Room cleanliness was excellent, and the air conditioning worked well, keeping the space cool. Breakfast included a delicious homemade pasta option and that perfect cappuccino to kickstart the day. Parking can be a challenge, especially during peak times, and the breakfast selection could use more fresh vegetables. Some noise from the street can seep into the rooms in the mornings, slightly impacting the peace.

Great location near the beach, comfortable beds, and lovely little rooms made the stay special!
